What happens if an item is shorted from my order?
Any items we're unable to pack are automatically refunded to your original payment method during order processing.
How long does candy last after opening?
Most of our international candies stay fresh for 2-4 months after opening when stored properly in airtight containers in a cool, dry place. Hard candies typically last longer (6-12 months) while chocolate and gummy candies are best enjoyed within 2-3 months. For optimal taste, we recommend consuming your rare candy finds sooner rather than later!
Freshness Guarantee
Freshness is a policy at Gotta Be Candy. We do not ship past-date products. Occasionally, short-dated items are listed at a discount with the best-before date clearly noted in the product title (e.g.,Chocolate Bar BB 04/13/2025) so you always know what you're getting.

Every order is packed with care and shipped directly from Vancouver, British Columbia.

Gotta Be Candy serves most addresses in Canada and the USA.
Is free shipping available to all addresses?
Free Shipping is available on all orders with a subtotal of $75+ ($250 for Northern Territories)
Orders less than $75 are subject to a flat-rate shipping fee of $16.95.
Tracking is Included with all orders.
Do you offer customer pickup?
Gotta Be Candy is available online only — but we're never far away. We attend select events and festivals across Canada throughout the year. Follow along to see where we'll be next.
When will my order ship?
We process almost all orders the next business day from our Vancouver, BC base — excluding weekends and holidays. Once shipped, you'll receive a tracking confirmation by email.
Is tracking included?
Yes — a tracking number will be emailed to you as soon as your order ships.
